These wafers were ok. Nothing special . I have tried other brands and found them to give me more working time. These melt slowly but very shortly after they are melted, they overcook and got crusty. I did not like the taste of them. So I ended up throwing them out. I went to Michael's and bought their brand of melting wafers, called Wilton's, and had better luck with the melting, working time and taste. I am not a candy maker expert and perhaps that is the reason why these wafers did not work for me. Maybe you will have good luck with these wafers.
