I used this mold for a flan, and it was gorgeous, the way the caramel stayed inside the hearts on the top... anyway, looks very nice! I am planning on using it with jello, maybe two colors: One on top and other in the bottom. We'll see what I come up with and I will update this review.

I made these chocolate-pretzel pops for my Grandson's third birthday party. Everyone thought they were professionally made. I even overheard one of the parents say that these should be posted on Pinterest. It takes a bit of effort to paint the black tires and racing stripes, but they were a hit at the party. Be sure to wrap them in long candy covers to keep them clean.

Nice little molds that do what they are supposed to

You would think that something as simple as chocolate molds would all be made well and work perfectly. Unfortunately this is not the case. This is the third brand of mold that I have purchased and the only one that did what it was suppose do without problems. It seems to be well made and I expect it to hold up well under moderate use. However, you cannot make hard candy with it or use it with really hot ingredients and it must be hand washed.Not only can you use this mold for chocolate, but I use it around the holidays (Christmas and the Fourth of July) as a butter mold. After filling the mold with soft butter I cover it with plastic wrap and then freeze it. The little star-shaped butter pats just pop out of the mold and make a garnish that even Martha Stewart would be proud of. I have this mold in this size and the 1 3/4 inch size and they both work just fine.

I purchased this to make airplane ice cubes for a baby shower. Each plane was very shallow and made it difficult to fill the mold and then place in freezer without the spilling it. It did work out and looked really cute in the punch bowl but was a very hard task.

When one uses the mold, the airplane is so thin that the tail, wings, and nose do not make it. I tried 4 times. I had to donate the mold.
