I've used these dinosaurs for a variety of cakes for my husband and son with both melt and mold chocolate and melted white chocolate chips, and have always been very happy with the results. I love that they have 4 different dinosaurs, although I wish there was a triceratops.

I used this to make crayon favors for my sons Dino party and this mold beat expectations. Would recommend for candy and non candy use.

I didn't realize it was just a thick piece of plastic. I'm not a candy mold expert but I'm not sure this will stand up to high temperatures of heat...we were hoping to make crayon molds with it. But for a couple dollars I'm sure it is just fine.
