I bought this mold to make little car cakes. They (mostly) came out of the mold well, but were very hard to frost. It was also very difficult to clean the cake out of the mold.

I purchased this mold for crafts purposes, but I am using it in my kitchen: I took a stick of butter inside one of the cars cavity and put in in the microwave until melted. Then I put the mold in the refrigerator until harden. The result: a beautiful car made of butter. I saved it in a butter dish and serve it at my table for breakfast. My child loved it! I will try with cream cheese and see if this way he'll try some!
